I want you to know that SUGAR is an addictive substance to the human body.
Not in the way cocaine or hard drugs in general would be, but none the less still addictive, so guess what MAY happen ( not necessarily will but could as everybody will respond a little differently ) when you begin to lower them in your food intake?
Less energy ( initially ), slight jitters ( shakes ), slight lack of mental capability such as concentration, memory etc… NONE of the above are permanent or harmful. Please rest assured, they are all temporary and all reversible.
See, your body has likely been running on SUGAR for so long, that YOUR body’s chemistry is currently adjusted to ‘cope’ with sugar and has been forced ( forced bad ) to use it as your PRIMARY source of fuel day to day, for a long time now.
Did you know that Fats in the blood provide a LONGER ENERGY SUPPLY with LESS FLUCTUATIONS than Carbs / sugar does?
If Fats were an ocean wave – the wave would be small, even and consistent. If Carbs / sugar was an ocean wave it would be high and thus would last LESS time and ‘CRASH’ harder!
Hence the Emotional mood swings and erratic energy levels that come when you eat too much sugar that you likely have experienced or at least know about.
Remember NOT to confuse Healthy blood sugar – with – intake of excess Carb = sugar.
Lastly – do you know what the word Carbohydrate means?
Loosely it means a food that ‘hydrates’ your body ( Carbo-hydrates ). Carbs inherently ARE Healthy and perfectly fine to eat etc… UNDER NORMAL CONDITIONS! But…
IF someone has a starting Weight of being 2 stone Overweight ( that’s ‘12’ kilo grams of surplus FAT ) – then – is the math going to be rather different do you think?!
Does that person WANT to have EXCESS energy coming in each and every day WHILST – they are simultaneously attempting to shift / BURN that 2 stone of stored energy ( already once eaten and now stored )?
What do you think?
Yes, if they cannot add up or are more they are simply Unconscious about all of this, which is the main issue.
EVERY-THING I write here and HOW I write it is an attempt to jolt you OUT of being switched off and on automatic mode.
So regarding Carbs, short version …
When you consume a Carb food, it will contribute to holding Water inside your body. This is Healthy and normal and good.
After a certain amount of Carb consumption and thus a certain amount of Water held in by the body – ALL of the Intracellular Water compartments ( Water inside a cell = Healthy ) are FULL.
Any EXTRA Water being forced in ( from excess Carbs ) forces the body to HAVE to STORE this Water in Extracellular spaces ( Water OUTSIDE of a cell ).
This means you may end up with puffy arms and puffy legs, sometimes the face and neck too.
Do you want that? You got that already??!! You want to get ‘rid’ of that?!
