Want to Permanently lose weight? Never put it back on?
This Weight Loss and Weight Management Event could help you …
It is focused entirely on answering this question. Several times during the year I hold a Live event in London that teaches the participants the strategy that will allow them to maintain long term, if not permanently the weight lost.
During the day you will learn how to properly lose weight in the first instance. You will learn how to make the process more enjoyable, likely quicker and simply more ‘efficient’.
Then you will learn how to maintain that weight lost – more importantly – in the second instance.
This 2 step process and my ability to deliver it, comes from over 20 year’s experience in Weight Management Coaching of some sorts.
Almost everyone in life has attempted a weight loss before, usually dozens of times and also put the weight back on – dozens of times! What people struggle with the most is not so much the weight loss itself but the management of that weight lost.
To keep the weight OFF permanently is the holy grail of the weight loss industry!
My role as a Weight Management Consultant was born out of a desire NOT to be just another weight loss person, I decided to provide to people – that which they desired the most. Which studies and interviews has confirmed is keeping weight off once it is lost.
The losing weight part / stage 1 / can itself be made easier, even quicker for people not to mention more enjoyable than the approaches a lot of people take. So that is covered during the day too. However the majority of the day is focused on teaching people the differences between weight loss and weight management.
It is these distinctions – distinct bits of information – that make all the difference.
Just like building a house requires a totally different set of actions to maintaining the house once it has been built – so it is the same with Weight Loss and Management. Challenge is that while it may be obvious when it is written down, people in the real world however try to maintain their new weight loss with actions that don’t fit in to their life style.
Life style is a big word but all it really means is the style in which you live your life. Changes need to be congruent and holistic with your life style otherwise they will conflict and any changes made – collapse.
Just like the house would collapse if you tried to keep putting more bricks on top after it had already been built! Attaining something is usually a totally different set of actions to maintaining that same something.
So it is true with Managing weight loss after the weight has been lost. During the event I show and teach people these differences that will allow them to cross over smoothly and maintain any weight lost without causing conflict in their daily life / life style.
During the day we will cover topics including :
Why you must do this and how it creates the desired outcome you are after. Even find a way to genuinely enjoy doing it! Believe it or not, you don’t need to be doing ‘exercise’ that you do not enjoy, there are ways to move / exercise that you would enjoy that could become the activity. It’s a lot to do with being creative and flexible!
How to finally understand what to do and what not to do in this area, plus how to enjoy the process rather than do it begrudgingly.
Dieting is a poor approach believe it not, only a few people that I have ever Coached has ‘gone on a diet’. There are many ways to achieve a calorific alteration – that leads to an increased metabolic rate – that leads to fat burning!
If you ask an average / random 100 people of the street ‘what is a calorie‘ for example, do you know that on average 99 – 100 can not answer the questions correctly! There are definitions and guesses given yes but none are accurate … YET studies show that out of an average 100 people again who go on a diet, 90 – 95 restrict their calories as their strategy!
How informative that is! it means there are a lot of people are out there right now who are doing something they have no clue about! and running a pattern that has also not worked previously – but running it again, anyway!
There is no judgement here, I am merely pointing out that as a society we do some pretty daft things in life. So if you want to be different than the rest – you need to do something different – to the rest, as well as to what you have done before, thus you need a change in your …
Learning the missing pieces in the jigsaw puzzle that has eluded you. The mind set required to be the weight you want to be.
For most people, the experience of losing weight is mostly a negative one.
Once the initial excitement and will power period are over, the mundaness of taking the same restrictive actions over and over very soon lose their appeal and old habits very easily – too easily – come back, creeping in undetected or more likely – conveniently ignored! until you have stopped doing anything action related pertaining to either losing more weight or maintaining the weight lost.
This self sabotage is not a defect of a persons personality, nor is it a weakness. It IS nothing more that a persons internal compass – beliefs and values, rules and feelings, habits and anchors, fears and auto pilot, that are ‘set’ in a certain way.
If your present wiring and these conditioned responses are not modified to reflect a new body weight – then any change will be sabotaged eventually, or changes will be only temporary or for some they may be able to sustain the change for a longer period but not actually enjoy it and thus will spend a large portion of every day ‘resisting‘ the food they really do want and ‘making‘ themselves / begrudgingly go to the gym or hell as they may call it!
To get ( attain ) and then keep ( maintain ) a new body weight requires new behaviors and feelings and thoughts and effects etc… that go along side the life style you have ( style in which you chose to live your life ).
Anything in conflict – will – create a disturbance and that will create alarm bells in your brain ( unconscious ) and the whole thing can come tumbling to the floor.
As you can hopefully see, losing weight and keeping the weight off is much much more than just ‘dieting’ and doing exercise you ‘hate to do’ … that 1 dimensional approach will rarely work long term.
This 1 day event will teach you HOW to break the cycle of repeated yo yo weight fluctuations caused by dated and ineffective dietary approaches and training regimes that are not sustainable in your life ( life style ).
On the day
The day will commence at 10am and finish around 7pm or later and will be held at a London venue and be limited to 30 people.
During the day a Q&A session will be included so you will have the opportunity to ask your questions.
Part of my approach is also to follow up with attendees during the month after the event to ensure the new changes are being actioned.
Be prepared for a long day and a lot of information sharing. This is a full day, in other words we won’t be taking an early lunch and coming back after a long break etc… we will be jamming the whole day. The day will require your best attention and concentration.
If you have any special needs or requirements please let us know well in advance.
The investment for the whole 1 day Weight Loss & Management event is just £99. Payable directly to a Charity of my choice, which is ‘S.O.U.P‘
